|    ---> AMERICAN IDOL 6   |
As a music industry major, I'm totally addicted to this show. So I figured maybe you'd like to follow along with me? Feel free to express your opinions on the TAGBOARD. Eventually I'll have a bit of an outlet here for it once it gets chopped down to the Top 5/6 or so, but for now...here are my thoughts. Feel free to agree/disagree. Top 12 Finalists | The Cast Offs MY THOUGHTS: CHOICE FOR FINALE: Blake: He's awesome. A good singer but a brillant performer, which I think might be a trap voters will fall into. Look at Taylor Hicks -- great performer, but do you really want a CD of that? Blake may be the anomaly to that rule because he has such a eclectic concept...we'll see. Love him. Jordin: I really think she could take the title this year, and I would be so happy if she did. She's got a great voice, good personality and she's sooo young! Go get 'em girl! LaKisha: As much as I loved LaKisha in the beginning, I think she is getting lazy with her song choices. She always tends to pick the obvious (or American Idol influenced) answer everyweek. I'm hoping she'll surprise me, but if not, I'd perfer she leaves before Chris or Blake. Melinda: MY GIRL! Melinda is the only one who has been so strong week to week. She always makes me smile and always gives me goosebumps. She sings my kind of soul, and I adore her. If she doesn't at least make top two, something is wrong with this world. Period. What are your thoughts? Let me know on the TAGBOARD. Interested in what songs they sang? Check out the listings below... |
