My Life...

Get It, Shawty?
This summer is flying by with racing stripes. Here's what's been going on:

The big deal of the summer: I achieved my goal and FINALLY got my driver's license. Granted, it was on my second attempt, but now I have it and that's what matters. You would not believe how depressed I was when I failed my first time, mostly because the brownie was a such a jerk it was beyond belief, and docked me 60 points because I got screwed up on my parallel park.

If you're wondering, I sunk it the second time. :) I am officially a member of the vehicle community. Aren't you proud?

It'll suck that I'll just have to get my license renewed in a year, since then I can get the ugly bright red bold slogan "UNDER 21 | UNDER 20" off of that sucker.

Still working, and getting dead tired. But making good money and that's what's important.

In the world of entertainment: I saw the 5th Harry Potter movie last night with the gang (minus LISA! GRR!) and it was awesome. I was a little let down that they didn't include a few minor details which would have taken no time at all, but oh well. It was very well done, and quite to the book. Umbridge was incredible. I think it was strange because the book is so long, the longest of the series, and yet this was somehow the shortest movie. Strange. Rupert was great as ever. :) In case you were wondering.

I also saw "Transformers" which was equally amazing. The special effects were just insaniety, and I was so proud of Shia! Baby's a movie star now! :) WHOO HOO!

Jessi Malay just dropped a new single with Yung Joc, called "Booty Bangs" which is the coolest new summer jam. It's on my MySpace page: myspace.com/lgcproductions05 if you'd like to hear it, or just visit her page at myspace.com/jessimalay . Can't wait to finally get her album.

The CCC girls are plugging away, and I think are at their latest photo shoot as we speak. :) I put up a new layout (the first layout I ever BOUGHT from someone else...yes, I know...the horror), and it looks good over at www.cccfans.net, but I was hoping for something a little more professional and HQ Fansite ish...so I ordered from the sweetheart that is Sarah at 7seas-designs.com -- as she makes INCREDIBLE INCREDIBLE layouts. I can't wait to see what she can do with my absolute fave photos of CCC.

We may end up staying in NYC longer than planned...which would be awesome. Our trip is currently set to be as follows:

8/15 - Arrive. Broadway Show.
8/16 - Justin Timberlake Concert @ MSG -- Good Charlotte is confirmed as the opening act.
8/17 - Broadway Show.
8/18 - Broadway Show.
8/19 - Return home (tentative).

We may end up going earlier, or staying longer...we'll see. There is a possibility that we will get to stay at Diane's apartment...which would be amazing. I promise a full (unlocked) report with pictures and commentary.

It was announced that Lance (from *NSYNC) will be in NYC at this time to perform in "Hairspray", so we may have to see that. ;) Then maybe we can meet him backstage like we did with Joey and I will have 2/5 of my Meet *NSYNC Teenage Dream fulfilled. Who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky and meet Justin too...Ha. And then I woke up.

It was announced that frickin' KATIE CASSIDY has been cast in a large role in the third season of "SUPERNATURAL". If she ends up at Jared's love interest I am going to be so pissed. First she goes from tearing through the hearts of Dream Street and then she's gotta take my Jared too? Say it ain't so! I think they should have Sandra McCoy come on and be a demon that they have to fight. That would kick so much ass. Then she could beat up Katie and tell her to stay the hell away from her(/our) man. ;)

Harry Potter Book 7 party next Friday! I cannot believe the series will be officially OVER! Awww...there goes my childhood.

Happy Birthday To Me
I am officially a 20-something. Hurrah, for I am old. :) This also marks I think three years since having this journal. Another Hurrah for commitment...sort of.

Not much has happened, hence the absence. I've been too tired out from work and driving lessons to make myself known virtually anywhere. I finally saw the majority of my hometown friends last night...we had a bonfire at Chris's house after going to the Deerfield Field Days. They got me a cake. It was sweet.

My road test is June 25th, which is scary to think about because it's a week from tomorrow. I'm not really worried...until I get to the Rome DMV to take my test. I guess things really are changing, huh?

I've got lots of cards and birthday wishes which is all very sweet, it made me a bit emotional yesterday...but I'm better now. Jessica sent me a High School Musical card, which is hilarious. It shouts out "Breaking Free" when you open it.

Money making machine, you know how it is. Life goes on...so be it. WWW.CCCFANS.NET is now back up and running, hopefully for good this time. Although, I'm getting sick of the layout so I may have to find some time that I don't have to change it. I'm trying to compile ideas. The girls from the band sent me a sweet Happy Birthday wish. They're so cute.

Unfortunately for me and my pessimistic self, my birthday means almost the end of June, which means July's almost here, which means my summer is 1/3 over with already. I don't even feel like I've done anything! I really hope to go to Six Flags with Janelle and Jess, and to Old Forge to Enchanted Forest with the 315 gang, but we'll see. Weekends seem to be the only time I can do ANYTHING anymore. I'm done with work in mid August, because we're spending almost a week in NYC, then I have a week of to re-pack and head back to Oney for JUNIOR YEAR. I cannot believe it's going by so quick.

The more I think about it, junior year classes are going to be a bitch. So I don't think about it much anymore. ;) Theory, Marketing, Law, Spanish and Communication. In one year. I'm so smart, it astounds me. Which reminds me, I made Dean's List. Yay. :)

We're having the fam over for a my birthday/Father's Day feast of Salmon. I'm happy. Food I'm willing to eat at a celebration in my honor. It's awesome.

That's about it. Life is good.
